To be more specific, I bike commute every day, to and from work, year-round, regardless of weather (more on that later). I've done this for years now - ever since I was in college and got really, really sick of paying for repairs for my crappy car. On top of that, I've always loved biking and, even when I did have a car, I never stopped cycling.
After I realized how practical it was for commuting, not just fun, I ditched my car (an utterly decrepit '88 Chrysler LeBaron convertible, if you're curious) and never looked back.
Besides, the view ahead is always so much better. :)
